Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect
PaperFormat has no accounts and does not collect names, email addresses or other identifying information. The bibliographic details, reference lists and checklist progress you enter are not sent to our servers.
2. Browser storage
Your reference list, chosen style, theme and checklist state are stored only in your browser's localStorage. You can delete them at any time by clearing site data; we have no access to them.
3. DOI lookups
When you press Look up, the DOI you entered is sent from your browser to the public Crossref API (api.crossref.org), and to the DataCite API (api.datacite.org) if Crossref has no record. Those services' own privacy policies apply. Nothing else you entered is sent.
4. Advertising
This site may show Kakao AdFit advertisements. The ad provider may use cookies or device information to serve and measure ads under its own policies.
5. Server logs
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages, which may temporarily process access logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and operations.
